Pastor Grimaldi was born on July 28, 1959, to Joseph and May Grimaldi. He was raised in the Pittsburgh area and started attending Calvary Baptist Church in Allison Park, PA at the age of five.  He was saved on July 23, 1973, and was baptized the next year.

In 1975 while attending a Youth Conference at First Baptist Church, Hammond IN the Lord called him to preach.

January 1977 he enrolled at Hyles-Anderson College.  While attending he served
as a Dorm Monitor, Bus Captain, and later as a Bus Division Leader.

In 1979 he married his wife Kendra Doty.  The Lord has blessed them with four children:  Jessica, Joseph III, Jeanette, James, and the latest addition a Grandson Joseph Robert Shiffer IV (JoJo)born to their daughter Jeanette and their son in law Joe Shiffer September 17, 2006.

After Bible College in June of 1981 he returned to Calvary Baptist Church in Pennsylvania to work as the Bus Director.   For the next seven years he would also serve as the Youth Director, and Assistant Pastor.   

In October of 1987 he became the Pastor of Calvary Baptist.  During his thirteen years as the Pastor many were saved and baptized.  Several years in a row the Church Baptized over 200, and many records were broken.  The Lord blessed Calvary by allowing them to support many Missionaries, and pay off their property and buildings.

In September of 2000 God called Pastor Grimaldi to Rochester MN to start Midwest Baptist Church.

Pastor Grimaldi holds the following degrees:
BS-Christian Ministries, Uniontown Baptist Schools, Uniontown PA
BS-Theology, Hyles-Anderson College, Crown Point IN
DD-Evangelistic School of Leadership, West Union, WV
